1. Definitely, as it keeps a consistency with your project, as well as utilising your assets to their fullest.

4. I think that the images you are using at the moment are perfectly fine, just try messing around with lighting more, as it can prove to be really effective. Not a great example, but first thing that comes to mind is

5.The lighting needs a bit of tweaking, such as making the text appear clearer, as to ensure the audience can read it in its entirety.
Overall mate, you've done a cracking job! Contextual understanding is apparent through your choices in film that are coherent and correlate to the obvious influences to your final resolution.
To bump your marks up in the awareness bit, just need to pick apart your research and make clear what you have referenced eg typeface/colour/etc
Effective title development and the direction of your designs has been well informed - although not entirely critical - and the final decisions made have created what you set out to achieve, being in your first crit n all I can see that!
Visually they work as a series, good use of technical skills, and I think you will do well due to your support in storyboards!
