It seemed massively appropriate to have this brief work on as an app. If a teacher needs to have a cheeky check in a classroom on the uses of certain screws or bolts then it would be much easier to simply get your phone out then a catalogue.
I've made the pt size bigger, before it sat too much into the poster, it needs to be more present. The below isn't as readable as the above as it sits on a rather pale background whilst the black clearly clashes with the white snow.

'A sunny day' seemed appropriate to enlarge to grab the eyes attention and make you think..HUH.
Had to think what words im going to highlight and what words i want to sit back.
Decided the text would look much more presentable align to the met office symbol. Also have it aligned on the left as well as the right to look smart.

I figured out a quick sentence that would show the mistakes they can make in a very humorous way. Now i need to play with the layout to ensure its readable and noticeable.

I changed my angle that i was looking at the underwear and suddenly i had a half decent photo that looks at scale and perspective, making sure the bikinis in the photo are very present, rather then the snow.

These images were flat and boring. I needed to consider lighting and perspective which i wasnt doing in these few.

for the image i thought opposites would work well. so with it snowing what better then to hang out your bikini.
With the weather being so poor at the moment it seems like a fun idea to take the mick out of the weather man, just a quick brief to start my day.
The packaging of the work is very straight forward. The leaflet will be held in a see-through wallet and on the top will be a folded piece of card which will be used to title the work, have a bar code on it and be able to hang on walls and such in stores.
I thought it would be nice to have simple black and white for the packaging. The leaflet will be visible through the wallet and since thats the product which the customer is buying it would be daft to try take attention away from it. The colours and design of the actual leaflet is what will sell it, not the packaging hence keeping the packaging very plain compared to the product.
I did see it appropriate to have a photo on the packaging and for that photo to be some what mysterious, i think the photo is interesting in that it doesnt tell the viewer anything about the content except that its going to be playful. I think the photo is quite humorous by having his eyes poking over the packaging, almost like he's having a cheeky peek.

Along with the booklet i want a set of postcards that highlight different areas in Wharfedale. The text is to be subtle to not derive from the photo.

Tried using a grey box to pull attention to it but dont think it really works.

To go with the booklet i want to produce a poster so above are my initial ideas.

FINALS
Even the simple lines need to be inlign to ensure it looks right on the page

The below image at the type that reads 'ilkley cow and calf' seems to float on the page. It needs aligning to something to make it seem right on the page. So as we can see above ive brought text to be in line on the right hand side.

Playing with the typeface to ensure its as readable as possible whilst still slick and not taking away attention from the photos. I think the above typeface works better for this.
