Hey I found something online that I think might help you with your project, there's a spinoff from 28 days later called 'the rage', and the whole thing is on Youtube as well so you could download the parts and derive imagery from it

– Overall, the direction lacks contextual links … photographic elements in specific. Look more into film stills, set photography, etc.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Could you tie in elements from spoofs such as Scary Movie? They use similar conventions just in an alternative context.
